Everyone is celebrating this (to use a well-worn word) historic event and the fab folks at BrightestYoungThings in D.C. are no exception. The BYT Inauguration Classic 2K9 Spectacular, set to take place January 20 (of course) at Bohemian Caverns, will feature a slew of bands and DJs, from Team Robespierre and Art of Junk to Wale and Team Facelift, drink specials from Colt 45, burlesque and lots of other fun party treats. The event is going to be emceed by Tig Notaro, best known for her work on the "Sarah Silverman Program." Food packages are also available, as well as a bag and coat check (especially handy for those trying their luck at going down to The Mall).
