What’s better than a beer festival? How about a Beer FEAST! Saturday, June 16, 2012 marks the 3rd Annual Flying Saucer BeerFeast on The Lake in Garland, TX where attendees can sample 30 tap and 30 bottled beers from 25 different breweries. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pints for Prostates, an awesome grassroots campaign that reaches men “through the universal language of beer,” which any true beer connoisseur can understand.
Each ticket comes with a tasting card to feast on 12 of the 60 different beers along with a handy commemorative beer tasting glass. In anticipation for any remaining thirst, extra tasting cards can be purchased at the event for only $6 each.
During the event, extremely rare and limited-edition brews will be available via announcements at the festival and on their Twitter account (@FlyingSaucerLak). A few of these rarely tasted beers include a one-year old Saison-Brett from Boulevard Brewing Co., the Lagunitas Brewing Sucks Holiday Ale, and Maui Brewing’s Onion Mild.
For those looking to enjoy their day but not the beer, there are also designated driver tickets available for $15 and include admission to the event along with complimentary soft drinks. Since it is a feast, there will be local popular food trucks serving up a variety of delicious food to enjoy when you’re not busy sampling beers. To help remember the day, Flying Saucer is providing a free photo booth along with activities and games.
Flying Saucer’s BeerFeast will be at Flying Saucer on The Lake, located at 4821 Bass Pro Drive Garland, TX 75043 on June 16th from 2pm to 8pm. Tickets are $30 if purchased by June 15 and are $40 at the door on the day of the event.
