Ticket Alternative Adds Shows For The Crown Theater in Las Vegas: Squeeze, The Swell Season and More!

We’re happy to announce that we will be selling tickets for shows at Las Vegas’ fantastic Crown Theater, located in The Rio Casino. Here’s what we’ve got lined up so far:

Metal rockers Queensryche play on July 24.

Classic British pop band Squeeze are back on the road and will be playing with ska legends The English Beat and The Scooners on July 27. Check out the video of Squeeze on Jimmy Fallon below.

Level 42 bring the bass with their jazz-funk fusion on August 1.

The Swell Season, the duo formed by Irish musician Glen Hansard and Czech singer and pianist Markéta Irglová from the movie Once, play on August 16.

California metal band In This Moment play with Otherwise on August 19.

Maxine’s in Hot Springs, Ark. Joins Ticket Alternative!

We’re very excited to welcome Maxine’s Pub to the Ticket Alternative family! This space that once housed a brothel now keeps the love strictly platonic for local and national touring acts, with a strong emphasis on supporting the local music scene. The venue already has some great shows listed (below) and we can’t wait to hear more from them!

Ticket Alternative Welcomes Criminal Records Back As An Atlanta Outlet!

We’re very happy to welcome back Criminal Records as a Ticket Alternative outlet! They had a brief time away as they moved the store to its huge, amazing new location (still in Little Five Points, 1154-A Euclid Avenue), and now they are back selling tickets for Ticket Alternative again, joining the crew of Decatur CD, Fantasyland Records and lots of CD Warehouses around and near Atlanta, Ga. Ticket Alternative Announces “No Convenience Fees” At Any of their Ticket Outlets on Record Store Day – Saturday, April 17

Ticket Alternative will waive all convenience fees on tickets purchased for any event at any Ticket Alternative outlet on Saturday, April 17, in honor of Record Store Day – a celebration for the culture that surrounds hundreds of unique record stores around the world.

Customers simply need to purchase tickets in person at one of the following Ticket Alternative outlets (which happen to be record stores!) on Saturday, April 17 during normal store hours.

In addition, customers will have a chance to win tickets and guest list spots to over a dozen concerts at multiple venues – such as The EARL, Star Bar, 529, Vinyl and The Loft.

Ticket Alternative’s Iain Bluett To Judge Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta!

Our very own Iain Bluett, co-founder of Ticket Alternative, will be on hand at the Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta tomorrow, April 14, to judge the second round! The free event will see local bands rocking out to win a spot at Hard Rock Calling, the British music festival taking place at the legendary Hyde Park in London this June. That means sharing the bill with the likes of Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Wolf Mother and more.

There are battles going on at Hard Rock Cafes around the country, and the winners from each battle will be judged by a panel headed by Little Steven Van Zandt, of the E Street Band. The finalists from that round will go on to the final voting round, which will see the fans pick the winner. More Tasty Goodies Come into the Ticket Alternative Offices

Can we just say how much we love Christmas, and the holidays in general, and how much we love our colleagues and clients? We got another package of lovely food today, this time courtesy of our brilliant lawyers. The package came from Harry and David, a personal fave of mine, since it always includes the most delicious fruit as well as some not-as-good-for-you treats, like fudge, chocolate truffles and cheese. Yum! We’re all digging in right now.
