Widespread Panic are playing a special charity show for Tunes for Tots, which supports arts and music education for kids, at Center Stage on September 23. If you are a mega-fan who really wants to support the cause and get up close and personal with your idols, then you might want to splurge for the $500 VIP tickets, which gets you into the private VIP cocktail party with the band before the show (which includes open premium bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres from renowned Empire State South chef Hugh Acheson), early admittance to Center Stage, private cash bar during the show, signed poster and VIP parking. Hard Rock Cafe Nashville hosts the 4th Annual Songwriters Series, a three-night tip-of-the-cowboy hat to Nashville’s top songwriters and a special tribute to country music superstar Kenny Chesney, June 10-12.

Held in Hard Rock Cafe Nashville’s new Reverb Room, proceeds from each show will benefit Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in health care facilities in Nashville and across the country.

Vero News has written a piece about the upcoming “Vero Sings For the Victims” event:

VERO BEACH — In recognition of National Crime Victims Rights Week, local singers will participate in Vero Sings for the Victims, 3 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at the Waxlax Theater for the Performing Arts at St. Edward’s School.

The fundraiser will create an emergency fund to benefit victims of violent crimes such as rape, murder, assault and battery. The fund will assist victims who must go through the court system for the State Attorney’s Office and are temporarily pressed for funds due to the crime.

Mark Wills & Friends Come to Hard Rock Cafe Nashville for March on Stage Benefit Concert

Hard Rock Cafe's around the country are hosting March on Stage concerts to raise money for Musicians On Call. The charity, formed in 1999, brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in health care facilities. Nashville's Hard Rock Cafe will be bringing Mark Wills and more to play on April 8.

Tap with a Beat to Benefit UNICEF’s Water Projects on March 21 @ World Peace Ikeda Auditorium in Santa Monica

Los Angeles' chariety Tap Project is hosting Tap with a Beat, to be held on March 21 at the World Peace Ikeda Auditorium in Santa Monica. The benefit concert will feature a host of celebrities performing, including Teo Olivares ("Ned's Declassified), Miki Ishikawa ("Zoey 101"), Quincy Brown "IQ," Somewhere Else (world title winners of Battle of the Bands), FREQUENCY 5 (winner of MTV2's "Circuit Breakout"), Boxcuttuhz ("America's Best Dance Crew Season 3"), with Alyson Stoner and Malese Jow.

The event will kick off World Water Week (March 22-28), which will see restaurants encouraging customers to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually get for free. All proceeds of the event and World Water Week go to benefit UNICEF and their focus on the world water crisis.

“Tickled Pink” uses humor to raise funds for breast cancer.

Tickled_pink A lot can be accomplished with laughter.  The 2nd annual “Tickled Pink” fundraising affair for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate will take place on October 18th at the Cobb Galleria Centre Grand Ballroom at 6:30 p.m.  The night will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, and dinner.

Entertainment will be provided by pioneering comedienne Elaine Boosler. Boosler is the first female comic to headline her own comedy special on cable television when Showtime aired “Party of One.” To date, she has headlined seven cable specials, as well as written, directed and acted in two half-hour movies: “Comedy From Here” and “The Call.”

Your hosts for the evening are B98.5FM’s Steve McCoy of the Steve & Vikki Morning Show, Jordan Graye and Kelly McCoy.

“Breast cancer is an illness that has touched nearly every American in some way,” said David Meszaros, vice president and general manager of B98.5FM. “B98.5FM is committed to providing strong community support, and we are thrilled to team up with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate. Through comedy, this event’s contributions will go toward finding a cure.”
