Dirty Guv’nuh’s- Smith’s Olde Bar, Atlanta- Jan. 27

If you haven’t heard of Knoxville TN’s The Dirty Guv’nuh’s then you probably don’t spend enough time in dive bars. This band has a buzz going..a serious one. With a new album out and legions of fans, catch them now before they become a household name.

Lethal Peanut – Rock and Roll Hotel, Washington, D.C.- Jan. 27

D.C.’s Lethal Peanut are known throughout the Capitol city for their folky, bluesy, alt. rock, and have been on D.C.’s NYE Downtown Countdown, Shamrockfest, and National Capitol BBQ Battle.

Pat Green – Revolution Music Room, Little Rock, AR – Jan. 27

Texas country artist Pat Green has recorded a total of ten studio albums, including several independent works, three for Republic Records and two for BNA. Fifteen of his singles have charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, of which the highest-peaking is the #3 “Wave on Wave” from his gold-certified album of the same name.

Machine Gun Kelly- Club 57, Orlando, FL – Jan.27

You may remember Machine Gun Kelly the American gangster, but this Kelly is just as much of a rebel.  He is known for his three mix tapes, 100 Words and Running, Lace Up and Rage Pack. He also has been featured in XXL. In mid 2011 MGK signed a deal with Young and Reckless Clothing. On August 3, 2011, he announced he signed with Diddy‘s Bad Boy Records, and Interscope Records. On December 14, 2011, Machine Gun Kelly was named the Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011 by MTV.

Brother Grey – Hard Rock Cafe’s Velvet Underground, Atlanta, GA – Jan. 28

Yes you may not have heard of Brother Grey yet, but you will. These Atlanta rockers are have been around for years in different bands, and now have come together for a clean rock sound unheard from the city. Catch them for their CD release show.

On December 9, the reigning King of Country Western Troubadours, Unknown Hinson, had his long awaited return to Little Rock and performed at the new Juanita’s, located in the historic downtown Rivermarket District. Live Review & Picture Book: Family Force 5 at Revolution Music Room, November 5

On November 5, the popular Christian crunk rock band Family Force 5 invaded Little Rock’s Revolution Music Room in bold fashion with themselves as their own opening band. Although they were in costume, complete with wigs and mustaches along with incognito names and personas calling themselves The 808ers, their fans quickly realized the masquerade. The 808ers used voice distortion when conversing with audience members while claiming “Family Force 5 hired us to do this karaoke challenge thing.” The randomly selected fans picked a FF5 song to do with the band, karaoke style. There were three sets of challengers. A local named Tim Fisher was awarded as the audience approved winner who would later appear at the end of the night to sing with FF5.
