What We Do Wednesday: Client Support 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week

Hate getting the cold shoulder from the folks selling your tickets? Got a technical issue you’ve been wrestling with? Have a major change to your event page? We have a dedicated staff of client account managers who are here to help you out and get your event going. And our support doesn’t stop with the usual business hours. With our support site, you can log in an issue at any time and it will be sent to whoever is on call that night, so your issue will be dealt with ASAP.

With s0meone always being on call, you won’t have to worry about keeping up with different contacts, tracking down someone at odd hours, leaving messages on a dozen phones or any of that nonsense. You can simply log in your issue, and keep track of the problem until it is solved.

Having a dedicated support staff also means you have real people helping you set up your events, and walking you through every step of the way. They will set you up quickly and get you all the contacts you need to be on your merry ticket-selling way.

What We Do Wednesdays: Customized iPhone Apps

As one of our fearless TA leaders (company president Iain Bluett) once said, “As smart phone use increases, and you do more and more on your phone, it becomes the single most important device you own. The obvious progression from just listening to music is browsing upcoming concerts and buying tickets to them.”

And so we entered the app business. Ticket Alternative now has three customized iPhone venue apps: The EARL (Atlanta), Rock and Roll Hotel (Washington, D.C.) and Black Cat (Washington, D.C), with additional apps for venues like Vinyl and The Loft (under Rival Entertainment) in Atlanta to follow shortly. Using the venue’s logos, color schemes and themes, we have created apps that blend seamlessly with that venue’s identity.

Through the apps, customers can browse, share and buy tickets to all the venue’s events, as well as find venue information and more. The events are continuously updated, and ticket purchasing is done through Ticket Alternative’s secure mobile ticketing website. The whole process is simple, easy and intuitive to the customer. We see this as a new way to share knowledge about events on the go and to increase advance ticket sales with your customers.

What We Do Wednesday: Dedicated Customer Service Seven Days a Week

Here at Ticket Alternative, we’re all housed under one roof.  Our cozy office is even home to our customer service team – that’s right, we don’t outsource our call center, it’s all in house. Not only are our customer service representatives just a hop, skip and jump from, say, our client support team, promotions director, and even our owners, but they are also here seven days a week, taking calls and helping out your customers.

Being so close in proximity means any time there is a question about an event, it can be answered quickly and easily by the person who built and managed the event. And with our open communication, most of these questions can already be answered by the informed and dedicated customer service team. “Are under fives free to this event?” “Can I bring my dog?” “What time does the first band go on?” “Is there a train station nearby?” All these questions and more are answered Monday through Sunday with a team both knowledgeable and helpful, who will go above and beyond to get your customers what they need.
