Based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Lost In The Trees is a maverick musical collective led by classically trained composer Ari Picker. The band merges dramatic symphonic elements with the soaring melodies of American folk and modern pop, creating a sound that is simultaneously intimate and sonically ambitious. Think Phil Spector meets Igor Stravinsky. And once you’ve wrapped your hear around that, come to the show.
What’s the first gig you ever attended?
The first club show I saw was Helmet at the Cats cradle in NC.The first stadium show was Collective Soul. Both were very different but good experiences.
What is the best gig that you ever played/performed?
Maybe Spaceland in LA? Corey Feldman was there! He missed our set, but I did get him to sign my copy of the ‘Burbs…my favorite movie.
What is the best gig you have ever seen?

A campfire singalong with Jeff Mangum, Thom York, Roger Waters, and Kazu of blonde redhead.
