By: Shelby Lum

It’s almost the weekend! And you know what that means, our top concert picks.  Take a break from your shopping, and leave the packed mall for a bit.  Our venues have lined up great acts for a breather from your holiday rush!  Here are our picks for the weekend.
Friday, December 7th-Duquette Johnston with Tedo Stone at The EARL

Duquette Johnston has shared the stage with names like The Strokes and The Foo Fighters. That’s right, he has been on stage with Dave Grohl. I can’t think of a higher accolade for a rock musician than that. Johnston will be at The EARL this weekend, so be ready to see one of the next big things coming to town.

Barry Waldrop, complete with his long locks and acoustic guitar in hand, will be at Eddie’s Attic.  He fuses his bluegrass passion with his southern upbringing (being from Alabama) for a unique fusion.  With him will be Scott Little & Paris Luna.
