You know by now, we’ve shouted it from the mountaintops, we LOVE a good beer festival! There’s something special about gathering with thousands of your closest friends to sample delicious and frothy craft beers. The German Bierfest is back at Woodruff Park on Saturday, August 24th and they are celebrating 10 years of pouring! This is the one and only, Atlanta German Bierfest, so embrace the traditions of bratwurst, käsepätzle, pretzeln, sauerkraut, schnitzel, volksmusik, and lederhosen without even leaving town.
Bring the whole family to this event: 21+ to drink, but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. Music, games, and family-friendly activities will keep everyone entertained and tasty treats will keep bellies full!
The German Bierfest is presented by: the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc. Starting out in 2003 in what felt like a backyard get together with 150 guest and a selection of 16 German beers, the Bierfest team moved on, inspired by the popularity of its guests. Ideas evolved along with location, beer selection and attendees number. Over the past year’s the festival has grown to become a favored ceremony, welcoming thousands of beer enthusiasts; featuring nearly 50 German beers in the one and only authentic, family-friendly German Bierfest in Atlanta.
