Want a taste of Atlanta music? Tunes from the Tombs, June 8th at The Oakland Cemetery, is packing over a dozen ATL bands into one beautiful, historic location. Check out the schedule below and grab your tickets in advance.

Creative Loafing Lion Square Stage:
6:15pm – Blair Crimmins and the Hookers – New Orleans roots/Americana/swing
5:00pm – 4th Ward Afro Klezmer Orchestra – jazz
4:00pm – The Bonaventure Quartet (featuring Amy Pike) – jazz/swing
3:00pm – Bird City Revolutionaries – reggae
2:00pm – The Breeze Kings – blues
1:00pm – Caroline and the Ramblers – rockabilly

Scoutmob North Public Grounds Stage:
6:30pm – Rod Hamdallah – blues/rockabilly
5:30pm – Slim Chance and the Convicts – Americana/alt-country
4:30pm – The Deadfields – Americana
3:30pm – Rolling Nowhere – Americana/alt-country/roots rock
2:30pm – Little Country Giants – folk/Americana
1:30pm – Spanky and the Love Handles – New Orleans delta blues

Other performances throughout Oakland on smaller vignette stages:
Wasted Potential Brass Band – jazz / standards / busking & stage (two special 40-minute performances)
6:00pm – Atlanta Sacred Harp Singers – shape note singing

Tunes from the Tombs will also have plenty of beer and wine. Local Atlanta food trucks will be serving a variety of tasty festival fare. Festival attendees can also take a complimentary guided mini-tour, or have their fortunes read by Atlanta’s own, Robyn Avalon.

You can bring blankets or lawn chairs but no coolers or outside food permitted. Dogs are not allowed due to Atlanta City ordinance.
