For all of our readers that love craft beers, we’ve got something in store for you! The Blacksburg Partnership will hold the 5th annual Blacksburg Brew Do, a craft beer festival, on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from noon-6pm at the First & Main Shopping District. Over 100 different beers from 40 local, Mid-Atlantic, and national craft- and micro-breweries will be poured. Attendees will savor culinary delights from local restaurants and enjoy home brewing demonstrations, live music, tailgating fun, and the culmination of the 5th annual Brew Do Homebrew Competition.
Regional bands Sideshow and The Boatmen will rock the Goose Island Main Stage. New to this year’s festival is the Center for the Arts at VT Old Time Stage, featuring the area’s best pickers.
Proceeds from this event benefit The Blacksburg Partnership, a non-profit organization working to enhance the quality of life in Blacksburg. For more information about The Blacksburg Partnership, visit stepintoblacksburg.org.
