We’re kicking off Weekend Picks a day early. The parties start Thursday and there’s no better way to celebrate our freedom than with some great tunes and a cold beverage! Fortunately, we have some awesome indoor options, like Fourth Fest at Cook Hall Atlanta at the W Hotel in Buckhead and Q100’s Red, White and Boom Party at Ventanas. Thursday, July 4th – 3rd Annual Fourth Fest featuring Yacht Rock Revue
Cook Hall, at the W Hotel Buckhead, will host Yacht Rock Revue, Moontower, Ralph Roddenbery, Donna Hopkins and friends on the 4th of July (indoors)! Food and drink specials will be offered during the entire event. Check out the great room rates too!
Thursday, July 4th- Q100’s Red, White and Boom – 4th of July Party
Join Q100 on the rooftop of Ventanas overlooking downtown Atlanta and Centennial Olympic Park! Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead skyline with Centennial Olympic Park fireworks lighting up your 4th of July night. Promised to be the best spot in town to sip on a drink and watch the Atlanta skyline transform as the backdrop of an unforgettable event!
Friday, July 5th – The Coolots at Black Cat
Girls Rock! DC is gearing up for its sixth summer of music, and to get things started they’ve got six great bands on the Mainstage. Comprised primarily of women and playing everything from acoustic to pop, punk to rock ‘n’ roll, the bands are here to remind you of why GR!DC exists! Profits go directly to GR!DC to help offset costs for this summer’s all-girls rock camp happening July 22 – 26 at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School.
