This year marks the 38th annual Atlanta Greek Festival, pretty exciting right?! We look forward to it every year. Whether you go every year or you’re considering attending for the first time, we’ve got a full rundown of the event! You’ll find there’s something for everyone. So embrace your inner Greek and check out this landmark festival!
Do you fancy yourself a beer expert? Or maybe you just enjoy a solid craft brew? Well either way you’re in luck. The festival will feature beers from Jekyll Brewery as well as Eagle Rock! Plus some of these chilled beverages will be waiting for you in the sports tent. That’s right, there’s a sports tent that will be showing both college and pro football as well as baseball!
If you’re looking to bring the little ones, fret not! Children 12 and under receive free admission. Plus there’s a larger kids area this year! It’ll have arts and crafts (plus the always-fun face painting). There will also be kids food options, just in case you have a few picky eaters! The Atlanta Greek Festival is extremely family friendly and wants you to have fun together!
Did we mention the food? Because there’s going to be a lot of it, and it’s going to be delicious, authentic Greek cuisine! There will be cooking demos as well as an eating contest. Not to mention there’s a market place where you can purchase some of these authentic foods to take home! There’s even a drive-thru. Get a taste of Athens in minutes! Check out the Drive-Thru menu! You’ll even be able to create your own sample boxes of pastries and the like to take with you! And yes of course there will be Greek wine!
The Greeks call it Kefi – when the music is playing and the joys of life consume you making you want to jump, dance and yell OPA! Let the continuous live Greek music and traditional bouzouki fill you while you enjoy our spectacular, energetic live traditional Greek dance performances by Atlanta’s very own national-award winning dancers.
