Fan Club Ticketing: Can You Keep a Secret?

Without the fans most musicians wouldn’t have a career, and many of them know it. That’s why they like to reward them with special fan club only tickets and events. We love it when our favorite artists reward us this way so we love setting up these special offers for our clients.

• Show? There’s no show.

Maybe you want to put tickets on sale and not let anyone know it’s even happening. Last year when Butch Walker decided to surprise fans with a secret show at Smith’s Olde Bar we set up a hidden link that was never visible on our website. The show and hidden link was then promoted exclusively on his Facebook page.

• Sure you know about the show, but what’s the password?

So you want to let people know exactly what they’re missing? We understand. For the Next Cool Event this past spring we listed the event on the website but it wasn’t possible to get tickets without a promo code. Rather than include the usual “Get Tickets” button that we use on all of our events, we placed a link in the event details to the promo entry page. No password, no tickets.

• Yea, we’ll let you in, but you’re no VIP! You aren’t a VIP without the password.

For MTV Artist to Watch Austin Mahone’s show at Jannus Live we created an exclusive password for his fan club. This not only gave his diehard fans early access to tickets but exclusive access to VIP experience tickets.

• The not so secret password – Because we’re awesome!

Sometimes the fans aren’t the only ones being rewarded with fan club tickets. For Star 94’s Jingle Jam promoter and long-time TA client Rival Entertainment gave us exclusive access to a block of prime seats, even though Gwinnett Arena isn’t one of our venues. We set up a promo code that was promoted across the Rival and Ticket Alternative social media channels.

How can we help you reward your fans with fan club ticketing? Give us a call at 877-725-4055 and we’ll be happy to talk through your options.
