Spring fever is setting in, but luckily the Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest will be returning to Heritage Green before we know it on Saturday, April 26. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday, March 18 at 10 a.m. The Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest will feature over 100 types of craft, domestic and import beers to sample, as well as great local food from area restaurants and food trucks, and a variety of live music by regional acts on the Rhythm & Brews Stage.
The Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest is a fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, a nonprofit organization that operates Heritage Green, the four-acre city park located in the heart of Sandy Springs. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the many community-focused programs of Heritage Sandy Springs, including educational and heritage programs, cultural enrichment activities, and special events such as the Sandy Springs Festival and Concerts by the Springs. What’s better than enjoying a cold brew while raising money for a good cause?
Admission is $30 per person in advance (plus processing fees) or $40 at the door, and includes entry into the Festival for unlimited safe tastes, souvenir pint glass, complimentary water, and a $5 food voucher coupon to use with any food vendor. Attendees can purchase non-alcoholic beverages and specialty food from food trucks and local favorites on site. Attendees must be 21 or older to attend. Advanced prices are available until noon on April 25, 2014.
The Beer Fest will be held at Heritage Green, 6110 Bluestone Road, Sandy Springs, GA, Saturday, April 26, from 4 – 8 p.m. Smoking, coolers, and picnics are not permitted at the festival. Only special assist animals will be allowed to entire the premises. Designated driver tickets are available at the door for $10. These ticket holders will be given a different wrist band, bottle of water and no tasting glass. Any designated driver ticket holder seen drinking will be escorted off the festival grounds and not be readmitted.
