The Electric Sons, NovaKord & Cousin Dan (Party in the Park pre-party)
Where: The Loft in Atlanta, Georgia

Get pumped up for Party in the Park with this pre-party show featuring local legends The Electric Sons, Cousin Dan, and NovaKord.

The Electric Sons are an Atlanta electronic/alternative band founded by vocalist/guitarist, Andrew Miller, and keyboardist/vocalist, Ben Richards. Whether it’s the energy of the fan-favorite track, “Breathing Electricity”, or the shimmering luster of the soaring “Kyoto”, listeners of the EP and observers of the band’s live performance agree: The Electric Sons could very well be the first big electronic band to come out of the South.

If you have been around the Atlanta music scene over the last couple of years, chances are you have heard the driving force that is NovaKord. This trio mixes powerful vocals, ethereal samples, incendiary guitar riffs, masterful bass lines and complex percussion with surgeon-like precision. Their music transcends mere comparison and deserves recognition in its own right because these guys create a sound that can’t be too quickly compared to other bands.

Cousin Dan born and raised in Texas, but has been doing his thing for the past year or so in Atlanta. Basically his moustache makes the ladies weak at the knees, he rips bibles in half, and shoots lazers from his fingertips and bounces them off of his junk. And the music is kind of an 80’s throwback….2080’s that is.
