Micah Dale is a support specialist in the client services department. Micah’s specialty is equipment and technology, i.e. printers, laptops, scanners, and networking. We have no doubt that he will show up to work everyday with cowboy boots, he does have over 12 pairs. Micah is a mixture of intelligent, friendly, and goofy! The blend we all want to be, right?
TA Live: Tell us about your position at Ticket Alternative.
I support our clients in their daily ticketing needs, helping to create a bridge between the clients and their end customers. The Client Services team and the Customer Service team work together to make sure that customers are well-informed about their events, and that they have an efficient channel through which to ask any questions they may have.
TA Live: What is your favorite part about working at Ticket Alternative?
Definitely the environment of the office. I work with a great group of people, both in my team and in the rest of the office. I like feeling comfortable around the people I work with because it puts less pressure on the work day. I also like that I am not always at my desk because I prefer to be on my feet and moving around more. For example, I get to work events throughout the year onsite and help ensure everything goes smoothly.
TA Live: How long have you worked here and what brought you here in the first place?
I have been with Ticket Alternative for almost 2 and a half years now. I first heard about TA when I worked at The Fox Theatre with our former office manager. He worked in the box office at the Fox and I did the event parking at the time. TA immediately interested me and I was happy I found out about TA through him!
TA Live: What’s currently on your playlist?
I like all types of music! Currently, it’s a blend of Motown and yacht rock, or as it’s affectionately referred to around the office, “Dad Rock”. Some of my favorite artists include Four Tops, Hall and Oats, and Jackson Browne.
TA Live: What is something strange that happens in the TA office that you think people should would like to know about?
For about two years now, we have been constantly stalked by a creepy glass clown statue named John Jacob (Or Clowny). He hides in drawers and boxes, just waiting for someone to stumble upon him. Once you come across John Jacob you then have to take a picture and hide him for someone else to find. I can’t believe it has gone on for so long, but we have fun with it and I like telling new employees about this game when they first start.
TA Live: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Steak, for sure. But it has to be good steak. Filet or sirloin is preferred and always a delicious medium rare.
TA Live: What is your favorite show you worked at or outing you have been to?
I had a blast at the 2012 Christmas party. Everyone from work attended and there was karoke, which I loved. It was cool to see everyone be goofy and have fun at this work outing. I really enjoyed working at The Taste of Atlanta, it is a great event because everyone loves food! Also, the lacrosse games at Kennesaw University are fun to watch because sports interest me.
TA Live: Outside of work what are you most passionate about?
I love watching football. Specifically, the Broncos, University of Tennessee, and Georgia Tech, in that order. I went to college at Tech, and I still attend games frequently!
