Ticket Alternative’s 2014: Recap Of Our Awesome Year!

TA Staff on Halloween

2014 was another great year in the books for Ticket Alternative! In March we launched our brand new DIY ticketing platform Freshtix and have since helped Freshtix event organizers sell over $1 million in tickets to ticket buyers! We hired a whopping 19 new employees this year and added countless new clients.

It was a year of great successes, trials and errors, new friendships, and the consumption of many pots of coffee. We had a blast every step of the way and can’t wait for 2015!

We collected a few of the staff’s favorite memories from this past year to share with everyone. If you ask any of our staff what their favorite part about working for Ticket Alternative is, they more than likely will say the people they work with. Not only do we love what we do, we love working together too. That’s why it’s not surprising that these staff favorite memories of 2014 all involve a fellow coworker!

Favorite Staff Memories:

Leah Faircloth
“When we did a company outing to Pallookaville in Avondale Estates and Nick and I split one of their delicious boozy milkshakes!”

Kelsey Daniels
“On Halloween when our CSR Manager Jeremy Frye dressed up as the “Scaremy Frye” scarecrow we submitted to Atlanta Botanical Garden‘s Scarecrows in the Garden.”

Robbie Smith
“Earlier this year, we were a little stressed with all the new clients and multiple events going on, and there was a moment where Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” came on the radio and I immediately got up and started dancing like I was in stop motion (like in the video) and Sarah lost it and fell on the floor.”

Nick Hardy
“That one time Max ordered D.B.A. Barbecue for our Free Lunch Friday but hadn’t received confirmation from them yet, so he brought 3 dozen donuts in for breakfast that morning just in case. Of course D.B.A. confirmed that morning so we had donuts and amazing barbecue that day!’

We hope everyone had a lovely holiday and has a very Happy New Year! Cheers to 2014, and here’s to a great 2015!
