Emerson Hart w/ Amy Gerhartz, Deke Duhon @ Vinyl – Atlanta, GA

Emerson Hart, frontman for the multi-platinum band Tonic, comes back to time and again on his new record, his first solo release in over six years. Beauty in Disrepair, due out in early 2014, touches on loss, but also the beauty of rebirth, newfound love, family and starting a clean slate. Beauty in Disrepair marks a remarkably polished and honest follow-up to his 2007 solo debut Cigarettes & Gasoline, a critically-acclaimed album that spawned two Top 20 singles.

Tickets are $20. Doors open at 7pm.




Peter Bradley Adams @ Eddie’s Attic – Atlanta, GA

Peter Bradley Adams was formerly one half of the duo, Eastmountainsouth, signed by Robbie Robertson (of The Band) to DreamWorks Records in 2002. Since then, Peter has released four solo records as well as an EP with his side project, “Down Like Silver”. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Tickets are $14 in advance, $18 at the door. Show is at 9:30pm.

Ohm Park Festival @ The EARL & 529 – Atlanta, GA

The blog may be dead, but the festival lives on. Head to The EARL and 529 Saturday, Jan. 10 for the third annual Ohmpark Fest, showcasing some of Atlanta’s best independent musical artists. Artists include: Twin Tigers, Spirits and the Melchizekdek Children, Warehouse, This Piano Plays Itself, Slowriter, and more!


Tickets are $10. Festival begins at 1pm.




The Bayside Tigers @ The State Theatre – Falls Church, VA

Cowabunga, dudes! 2014 is sooo overrated, but you know whats ALL THAT? The SAVED BY THE 90s PARTY with the Bayside Tigers! Boo Ya! Live music from NYCs freshest party band, The Bayside Tigers (they’re da bomb) playing all your favorites: from Ace of Base to Weezer and everything in between! Swan Lake @ The Fox Theatre – Atlanta, GA

The classic Swan Lake performed by The State Ballet Theater of Russia for one day only at the Fox Theatre!

Johnette Napolitano (of Concrete Blonde) @ Eddie’s Attic – Atlanta, GA

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Johnette Napolitano is best known as the lead vocalist, songwriter and bassist for the alternative rock group Concrete Blonde. She will be doing a solo show at the intimate Eddie’s Attic this Sunday, Jan. 11!

Tickets are $28 in advance, $33 at the door. Doors open at 6pm.
