After five decades of touring, 73-year-old Dylan is kicking off his 19-city tour in early April. His tour is in support of his new album “Shadows in the Night.” Dylan will make his way to The Fox Theatre in Atlanta April 24 at 8 pm.
How do you even begin to talk about a man like Bob Dylan? Because to say he is an accomplished artist is an understatement. For over 50 years, Dylan has taken a variety of political, social, philosophical and literary influences to create sounds that resist the conventional and appeal to a counterculture. Dylan has explored everything from folk, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, jazz, gospel and country, creating an image for himself among a variety of audiences. It’s not just the music he creates but the kind of person he is. His lyrical and poetic power has helped shape American culture, landing him in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and even a Presidential Medal of Freedom from Barack Obama. Dylan has sold over 100 million records and won numerous Grammy, Golden Globe and Academy Awards, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
Prices for the Atlanta show range from $49.50-$119.50. There are no presales available.
