The three-day festival kicks off Friday, March 27 at 8 a.m. with the USF2000 practice laps. The race is the first round in the 2015 championship for the racing series which has been around since 2010. Fans are looking forward to the jaw-dropping velocity and expert precision of the 1.8 mile, 14-turn street circuit race. The current record holder is 21-year old race royalty, Matthew Brabham who broke the record in 2012 with a time of 1:13.064 at 88.689 mph.
The main event, however, is the Verizon IndyCar Series.
