Event Preview: Tour De Compadres


American Christian rock band, NeedToBreathe, hit the road this spring with some of their best rock brethren to bring the highly anticipated Tour de CompadresThe South Carolina natives are preceded by their reputation for intense live performances and this time around promises more of the same transcendent energy for which the band is known.

In 2014, the Dove Award nominated rockers released Rivers in the Wasteland, named for Isaiah 43:19. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, No. 1 on the Christian Albums chart, No. 1 Rock Album, and No. 6 on the Canadian Albums Chart, and sold  49,000 copies in its first week! Maybe it’s all this attention that compelled the group to headline their first ever North American tour.

Accompanying NeedToBreathe will be Ben Rector, whose most recent album, Walking in Between, sold 100,000 records and 2 million singles in 2013. Nashville rock crooners, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, will be performing hits from their latest record, Good Light, which was released in 2013 on Good Time Records.  Also on the tour will be the Tennessee rock royals, Colony House, whose debut album, When I Was Youngerappeared on the ITunes Store Alt-Rock chart and featured the most downloaded song on SiriusXM Alt Nation!

Tickets are $32.50 in advance, $37 day of show, plus a $1 donation towards the Artist’s Charity, PMI (Palmetto Medical Initiative).
