Virna Mendoza is one of the newest additions to our team, and since joining us she’s jumped right into the groove of things. She was a pivotal part of our success with Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and we can’t wait to see what other awesomeness she will bring! Check out our interview below to learn more about Virna and what she enjoys doing when she’s not working her magic at TA.
What exactly do you do for Ticket Alternative?
I work with our Ticket Alternative clients and outlets providing routine support, as well as creating and maintaining events. I want to help our clients get the most out of our system tools to grow and maximize their ticket revenue.
How long have you been working here and what were you doing before coming to TA?
I’ve been here for a few months now. Prior to TA I was already involved in the ticket world working for ASO Presents ticketing shows for Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater and Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.
If you could go anywhere else in the world, where would you go and why?
Vacation-wise, it would be Europe, specifically Italy and Spain. I would go mainly for the food and wine but also the architecture and people.
When you’re not at work, how do you like to spend your free time?
Usually catching up with friends over a good meal. I love to try all the new restaurants that continue to pop up all over town. I enjoy all sports so you can also always find me taking in a game/match in person or on TV. It is March Madness time so I will be glued to the tournament and my bracket over the coming weeks. And, it’s only 174 more days till college football season kicks off.
What’s on your current music playlist?
Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Alabama Shakes, Luke Bryan, and The Allman Brothers, always!
What upcoming Ticket Alternative event are you most excited for?
I just heard about a beer festival we ticket in Vermont, so I’m all ready for that road trip.
